Monty Banks builds his own plane inspired by Charles Lindbergh's famous flight, but it ends in disaster. He then joins the Army, where he finds love during basic training with a beautiful woman.

Monty Banks, a comedian, is inspired by Charles Lindbergh's historic transatlantic solo flight and decides to learn how to fly a plane. He builds his own, but it doesn't go well, so he joins the Army. During basic training, he falls in love with the Colonel's daughter, gets into mischief with a drill sergeant, and is mistaken for a French dignitary. Eventually, he participates in the Army-Navy air polo match and wins.
