Billy Bucklin, a notorious outlaw, makes a daring escape from Yuma prison and sets out to assemble a gang of outlaws to dominate the Mexican border. To fund his operation, he resorts to stagecoach robberies, kidnaps a woman for human trafficking, and steals a military payroll. In response, the governor grants parole to an aging lawman's brother-in-law, a former prisoner serving a 20-year sentence for murder, to help the lawman and his inexperienced deputy take down the marauders.
