Two radio comedians flee to Desert Springs, one to escape his jealous wife and the other to avoid the advances of a comedienne. Their getaway takes a deadly turn when they discover the body of their agent in their room, only to have it mysteriously disappear. As they team up with other detectives to solve the crime, they uncover a shocking truth: the agent wasn't killed, but his body was hidden by his doctor, who was testing a new treatment for heart disease with disastrous results.
