I Am Suzanne!

Tony Malatini, a struggling puppeteer, seeks inspiration at Theatre des Marionettes, where he becomes captivated by Suzanne, a performer who has mastered the art of captivating audiences, amidst his Parisian theatre's dwindling attendance.

Tony, a struggling puppeteer, discovers his successful competitor's secret to drawing large crowds: the captivating dancer Suzanne. Mesmerized by her, Tony asks her to be the inspiration for a puppet in his show, but the controlling Baron, Suzanne's manager, threatens to abandon her unless she marries him. When Suzanne refuses, she falls into the orchestra pit, injuring herself and ending her dancing career. Tony helps her recover and teaches her puppetry, confessing his love for a puppet resembling her. Together, they put on a successful puppet show, but Tony's unique proposal plan, using the puppet, only confuses and angers Suzanne.
