A lawyer defends a gangster accused of murder, securing his acquittal. Later, the lawyer discovers the gangster's guilt, but instead of letting him go free, he concocts a plan to prosecute him again, this time for a different crime, and uses the courtroom to expose the gangster's criminal activities.
