In the past, Hong Kong was a thriving fishing port, and its people have a long history of worshipping ancient deities for good fortune. With over a hundred Tin Hau temples, the Goddess of the Sea, scattered throughout Hong Kong, Lamma Island is home to three of these temples. This film explores the current state of these temples, providing a glimpse into the daily lives of the fishing community and those who visit the temples, both islanders and city dwellers.
