A group of small-time thieves, led by Pop and Mom Cobb, capitalize on a lucky find - a wallet containing a bank cashier appointment. They pose as bank employees, but one of them gets cold feet and tries to flee with the money. The others catch up and return as heroes, ultimately deciding to trade in their criminal life for a peaceful rural existence.
