Aditya, a struggling photographer, meets Sophie in Himachal Pradesh and becomes obsessed with her. He tries to befriend her, but fails, and eventually convinces her to pursue modeling in Mumbai. As Sophie's career takes off, Aditya's own career stagnates due to his dependence on her. He meets Ira, the daughter of a successful photographer, and uses her connections to advance his career. They get married, but Ira discovers Aditya's past infidelity and files a charge of infidelity against him in support of Sophie. Aditya's guilt over his past actions causes him to hallucinate that Sophie has committed suicide, leading to a dramatic confrontation with his ex-lovers.
