Jimmy, a young man with a troubled past, is the product of a family curse that has left him without a sense of identity or self-awareness. Mentally challenged and unable to communicate effectively, he has been under the control of his grandmother, "Granny," for 40 years. Granny has used Jimmy to kidnap and torment young girls, but when Sara, a kind-hearted girl from a loving family, is captured, she begins to teach Jimmy about the Bible and exposes Granny's malevolent spirit. As Sara's faith is tested, she must also confront her own mortality and the darkness that surrounds her.
