Kabir Kapoor, a novelist, is in a legal dispute with his publisher over a delayed book. His former wife, now married to the publisher, suspects he's secretly writing for someone, as he has no income and she's taken everything in alimony. Kabir travels to Panchgani, where he meets Suhana, and gets caught up in a mystery involving a detective, a ghostwriting secret, and a series of murders inspired by his novel.
