A young boy named Muhib is orphaned and raised by his sister, who later marries and brings him to live with her husband. Muhib grows up under strict rules, but tolerates them for his sister's happiness. He is deeply in love with Oru and they marry in a court ceremony, but Muhib is forced to leave town for work, leaving Oru behind.
