Lion Army background

Lion Army

In the heart of Africa's Kruger National Park, a powerful lion pride, ruled by young males, exerts its authority.

In the Kruger National Park, a powerful lion pride of 28 members is led by two dominant males. However, nine adolescent males have taken over the hunting, bullying the females and dominating the carcasses. When the pride's females split from the main group, the remaining females struggle to feed their growing sons, who are ineffective hunters. The females eventually call on the pride males for help, leading to the removal of three unruly juveniles. With the remaining youngsters motivated to help, the pride's hunting success increases, and new cubs are welcomed into the family.
