Judy Gibson, a finishing school graduate, visits her relatives, expecting to find wealth and social prominence. Instead, she finds penniless Broadway characters who own a Long Island mansion stolen from a thief in Sing Sing. To conceal the truth, they pose as wealthy socialites. Judy's fiancé and his father try to sell worthless stock to her family, using stolen loot. Complications ensue when the thief escapes from prison.
