A group of 12-year-old boys from different racial backgrounds came together to play baseball in 1955, paving the way for a more inclusive and promising future.

In 1955, racial segregation was still prevalent in the South, but two groups of 12-year-old boys from Pensacola and Orlando, Florida, made history by playing in an integrated Little League game. The teams, the Pensacola Jaycees and the Orlando Kiwanis, broke with tradition and showed that integration was possible. Over 60 years later, the team captains, Will Preyer and Stewart Hall, returned to the game and found that it became a bridge to understanding the present-day social landscape.
