A retired football player is sent to a troubled village to establish a football team, aiming to distract the locals from Maoist activities. Despite being kidnapped by the Maoist leader, the coach decides to stay and teach the villagers football. However, the project is initially halted by the government, leading to a standoff between the sports minister and the coach. The coach's team is given a chance to prove themselves in a match against Kolkata's top team, and their impressive performance secures the project's continuation.
