In the 1980s East End, Ted, a former drag queen, tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter Cassandra, who's struggling to accept him. After years of being apart, Ted's diagnosis of a hereditary illness prompts him to reach out to Cassandra, and they eventually meet in a greasy spoon. As Ted performs as Iva Secret, a drag queen, Cassandra begins to see her father in a new light and starts to understand his passion for drag.
