A Border Patrol Agent, Angela Rubio, faces numerous challenges after being hit on the head by drug smugglers and left unconscious. She is aided by an illegal immigrant, Don Pablo, who is returning to Mexico due to lack of work. With her memory lost, Angela is convinced by Pablo to head back to Mexico, mistakenly believing she is an illegal alien. As they cross back into the U.S. in search of a better life, they find themselves running from the U.S. Border Patrol.
