A rebellious second-hand washing machine develops a mind of its own, doing laundry on its own terms. Its owner, Teoh, discovers its secret and uses it for all household chores, eventually renting it out to strangers. When Mr. Wong takes it in, his son tries to seduce it and his daughter becomes suspicious. This dark comedy explores the consequences of alienation and desperation in a commodified city.
