The film Meltdown is an extension of a winning short film that blends the styles of Shaun of the Dead and Mad Max. It follows four friends, Zeke, Callie, Les, and Hunter, as they celebrate Hunter's 29th birthday on a seemingly ordinary day in their hometown. However, things take a dark turn when everyone they know is suddenly transformed into aggressive, flesh-eating zombies. The friends must fight their way through the undead corpses of their loved ones to reach a post-apocalyptic wasteland filled with monsters and rival survivors.
