Midnight Abyss is a psychological horror film that explores the horrors of our own imaginations and nightmares. Tod, a troubled teenager, has a recurring nightmare where he's chased by a silhouetted figure through an eerie forest. He tries to dissect his nightmare after learning about psychological effects on the mind in his psychology class. Later, he watches a horror movie involving a vampire, which terrifies him and makes him think a real vampire is after him. As he struggles to face his fears, his nightmares come to life, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
