A former American expat in Germany is recruited by the US to spy on the Nazis, but instead becomes a leading anti-Semitic propagandist. After the war, he's granted a quiet life in the US, only to be pulled back into his old life by a web of spies and neo-Nazis. He's eventually captured by Israelis, claiming "I was an American Spy" as his defense.
