Gavin Wallace, a National Guard veteran, returns home from Iraq and looks forward to a peaceful transition to civilian life. He's greeted with a warm welcome home party from his loved ones, but something feels off. His experiences in Iraq have left him distrusting of his surroundings and perceiving threats where none exist. Gavin joins his father-in-law and brother-in-law on a hunting trip down the Tishomingo River, but they soon find themselves caught in a conflict between bear poachers, local law enforcement, and a rogue bear. As they navigate the hostile forest and treacherous river, they must confront danger in the most unexpected places.
