In this dark comedy, Ophelia, a naive and troubled young woman, is kidnapped by a witch and becomes her apprentice. As she undergoes a detox from her unhealthy lifestyle, Ophelia learns about a Council of Superheroines, a group of powerful women who are struggling to raise funds for a new broom. The superheroines, each with their own unique abilities, are being threatened by a group of villainous counterparts who are determined to destroy the women's movement. Ophelia, now rechristened "Estrogen Woman," must use her newfound powers to help the superheroines defeat their enemies and save the day.
