Party Like a Roman Emperor background

Party Like a Roman Emperor

Iconic parties from history spring to life in this documentary series, revealing the captivating tales and secrets behind each legendary gathering.

Dylan Marer, a renowned party planner, is tasked with organizing the biggest event of the year at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, with 3500 demanding guests. He faces a massive challenge to create a unique party space with a limited budget and time. Dylan draws inspiration from Ancient Rome, specifically the decadent past, and plans an homage to the outrageous emperors like Nero and Caligula. He creates a guest list with almost two women for every man to make his male party guests feel like their every desire is within reach. To bring the design together, Dylan relies on lighting, design, fog-effect smoke, and "living art" - beautiful girls whose naked bodies are painted to look like bikinis. However, he must find a solution to comply with Nevada's by-laws, or risk the authorities closing down the entire party.
