The Alloy Orchestra composed an original score for a percussion ensemble in 2010, crafting a distinct piece on a 3-foot long sheet of squared notebook paper at a consistent tempo of 60 beats per minute.

The Alloy Orchestra was commissioned to create an original score for percussion ensemble, based on a musical setting drawn on a 3-foot long sheet of squared notebook paper. The musicians were given complete freedom to determine the timbre, volume, and sequence of themes, within a fixed tempo of 60 beats per minute. Two artists played along with their respective instruments, a drummer and a draughtsman, without prior knowledge or preparation, and the footage was edited to adhere to the music's criteria.
