Paul, a man with Parkinson's disease, is at the center of a complex relationship with his son Pincus. By day, Pincus manages the family construction business, but at night, he's forced to care for his demanding father. To cope, Pincus turns to drugs and his only employee, Dietmar, a German immigrant. When Pincus meets Anna, a yoga instructor, he pretends to seek alternative therapies for his father, but his search for Dietmar soon becomes a journey to discover the true meaning of family, spirituality, and isolation.
