Play for Today

A disillusioned young man, craving genuine relationships, creates a false persona to join a group of devoted followers, but his deception ultimately reveals his authentic self.

A lonely and compulsive misfit named Henry becomes deeply ingratiated with a church community after arriving at a social event. He throws himself into helping with youth groups, Sunday School, and Scouts, delivering lectures that are actually just recited from travel brochures. As time passes, his habit of exaggeration and lying, along with unusual traits and actions, begin to raise concerns among the community.
