A Bedouin woman embarks on a transformative journey with her daughters to India's Barefoot College, where she joins a community of illiterate grandmothers from various backgrounds, learning new skills.

A Bedouin woman, Rafea, lives in a poor Jordanian village near the Iraqi border with her four daughters. She's given the chance to attend the Barefoot College in India, where grandmothers are trained to be solar engineers in 6 months. If successful, Rafea will electrify her village, train more engineers, and secure her daughters' future.
