Five years after a mad preacher, Vincent Goar, calls on God to bring about Judgement Day, ex-superhero Ronald Fireheart is left disillusioned and bloodthirsty. He is convinced by his ex-mentor, Sebastian Blade, to rejoin the fight against Goar, now running the country as The Auditor. They break into the Auditor's castle, fighting their way to the villain's lair, where they face the Fallen Saviour, a zombified deity. After Sebastian's death, Ronald becomes the mighty Nimbus, who must use an ancient technique to defeat the Fallen Saviour.
