In this intense scene, Hanson employs Bobby's carrier pigeons to receive secret messages, but his henchman Slim takes matters into his own hands, shooting down the birds before they can reach their intended target. However, when Slim is wounded, Ranger Daniels takes on the role of a drunk to complete the task, surprisingly missing the next pigeon and intercepting the crucial message from Bobby. Unbeknownst to him, his cover is blown, and the gang sets out to track him down.
