A young married couple, Karim and Hebba, are thriving in their careers. Karim is on the verge of being appointed editor-in-chief of a prominent government newspaper, while Hebba hosts popular TV programs highlighting the struggles of female victims. However, Karim's appointment is contingent upon Hebba refraining from discussing political topics. He convinces her to shift her focus to ordinary people, but her new "non-political" programs ultimately become even more distasteful to the authorities.
