Johann Christoph Haizmann, a painter and disturbed individual from the 1650s, made a pact with the devil to be his son, gaining immortality. In the present day, a documentary film crew, along with a child actor, a free-spirited woman, and a former teacher, embark on a search for Haizmann, who may be the embodiment of evil. Their journey takes them to a satanic black mass ceremony and into their own souls.
