Service with the Colors

The film tells the story of a diverse group of men from different backgrounds as they join the United States Army and report to a common post, showcasing their unique experiences as they adapt to military life.

Warner Bros. short film follows new army recruits at the Presidio in San Francisco before the US enters World War II. Under Sgt. Clicker's guidance, they undergo basic training, with one recruit, Chuck Corbin, struggling to fit in. As they progress, Chuck's behavior worsens, leading to a stint in the guard house and ultimately, desertion. However, he redeems himself by risking his life to save comrades, earning a second chance and a newfound positive outlook.
