Joshua Waits, now grown up, struggles with the constant interference of his grandfather's ghost, Seth, who haunts him with unwanted bologna sandwiches and annoyances. Joshua meets Wendy, falls for her, and they share a romantic moment, but just as things heat up, Grandpa Seth interrupts, causing Joshua to demand some peace. After Seth disappears, Joshua and Wendy continue, but she reveals her true goblin nature, ensnaring Joshua as her next meal. The film concludes with a nod to the original Troll 2, featuring the iconic green goo and popcorn.
