Patsy Brent, a bail-bond broker, teams up with Steve Morgan, an investment company executive accused of embezzlement, to clear his name. After Morgan disappears, Patsy finds his ex-boss's body and eventually tracks down Morgan at a mountain lodge. Together, they search for the missing bonds, uncovering a booby-trapped secret compartment. Morgan then cleverly exposes the guilty party by tricking the board of directors into opening the panel, revealing their true intentions.
