Sierra Passage

Johnny Yorke, a 13-year-old boy, is taken in by Thad Kring, the owner of a traveling minstrel show, after his father's senseless murder by hired assassins.

Professional killers murder 13-year-old Johnny Yorke's father, and he's adopted by a traveling minstrel show owner. Over the next decade, Johnny becomes a skilled sharpshooter under the mentorship of Sam Cooper. He's driven by a relentless search for the killers, who he remembers as a big man with a missing finger and a distinctive laugh.
