As Melody seeks justice for her uncle's murder, her path intersects with Dumont, who is consumed by a thirst for revenge after his father's killing. Their parallel investigations converge, implicating Skelton as the prime suspect.

As Melody searches for his uncle's killer, he crosses paths with Dumont, who is seeking justice for her father's murder. Both suspects Skelton, and Dumont discovers damning evidence in his office. However, when Melody finds the murder weapon in Skelton's office, he is mistakenly arrested by the sheriff, who is secretly working for Skelton.
