Stage Struck background

Stage Struck

On the brink of a Broadway comeback, George Randall must navigate the unorthodox demands of his wealthy backer, Peggy Revere, who is footing the bill for his latest production despite her questionable singing talent.

In this classic comedy, a Broadway dance director's life is turned upside down when he's forced to work with a wealthy but tone-deaf performer who's only in the show because of her backing. As rehearsals become increasingly tense, a suave producer tries to mediate by spreading rumors that each person secretly has feelings for the other. Meanwhile, the director's true love is a chorus girl who's asked to step in as the lead when the original star quits on opening night. Can she save the show and capture the director's heart?
