An idealistic newspaper owner, Warren Hull, uses his platform to root out corruption and successfully oust grafting politicians. However, his efforts are complicated when he discovers his own father is a wanted criminal, and his romantic interest, Marsha Hunt, is the daughter of the district attorney who refuses to prosecute him.
