A group of young boys and a dog are stranded on a Pacific island after a shipwreck. When a second boat crashes onto the shore, they meet two friendly survivors, a nurse and a ship's carpenter. However, they soon realize that there are also three ruthless mutineers among the survivors. The resourceful boys outsmart the mutineers and, with the carpenter's help, build a new boat to sail back home.
