Tell Gordon Hello background

Tell Gordon Hello

A filmmaker's passion for comics and film was sparked by a chance meeting with Paul Louis Harrell on a previous short film project, ultimately leading to the creation of Tell Gordon Hello.

Morgan Rodner's passion for film and comics led to the creation of Tell Gordon Hello. During a writer's block, Rodner met Paul Louis Harrell, who played the Joker on Hollywood Blvd for tips. This encounter inspired the story, which was developed with Bryan Wolfson and presented to Casey Schendel. With a small budget, the team overcame challenges, including finding a location, thanks to ATB Studios and Zilla Lighting's donations. The film grew from a small garage scene to a high-production-value short shot on a RED camera in a 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse. The cast and crew's dedication resulted in a film that exceeded expectations, potentially becoming the definitive Joker fan film.
