A Mexican youth is wrongly accused of cattle rustling and faces a lynch mob, but his father's botched rescue attempt leads to his hanging. The sheriff, who had come to rescue the youth, witnesses the event. The Mexican spends four years in prison, loses his right hand, and seeks revenge against the sheriff. He takes eight villagers hostage, killing one every 10 minutes until the sheriff agrees to talk. However, in a final confrontation, the Mexican's attempt to draw his gun with his maimed right hand proves fatal.
