In the aftermath of years of underground atomic testing, a creature in the Wisawa caves has undergone a terrifying transformation. When Dr. Vincent Edwards and Rosemary Bennett discover evidence of missing children, they join forces with the sheriff and Stan Johnson, a local farmer and father of the missing kids, to lead a rescue mission. As they venture deeper into the caves, they realize that the true horror may not be the unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, but the monstrous creature that has been awakened.
