Rex, the revered God-Horse from the island of Sujan, is transported to the United States to be trained as a polo pony. After a daring escape, Rex teams up with Rin-Tin-Tin, Jr. and Frank Bradley to return to Sujan, where they must thwart a sinister plot to sacrifice Rex to the natives who have turned against him.
