The movie follows Jordan Simms, a Jewish student at a Christian prep school, as he navigates the challenges of being a minority while pursuing his dream of playing Division One Lacrosse. His parents, however, have different aspirations for him, wanting him to become a high-powered lawyer. Jordan's teammate, Chris Wheatley, is the youngest son of the school's domineering Headmaster, who pushes Chris to succeed despite the cost to others. As the team's winning Coach is fired, Jordan and Chris's friendship is tested, and the boys must confront their own desires and the expectations of those around them.
