A young prizefighter, Jeff Burton, stops in Brimstone, Arizona, on his way home to San Diego, after his stagecoach is robbed by Trigger Bill, the outlaw boss of the town. Unbeknownst to Jeff, Bill discovers his true identity as his long-lost son through a picture in Jeff's watch and sets out to protect him. Bill secretly funds Jeff's education, and Jeff later returns as a federal marshal, teaming up with his father to clean up the lawless town.
