Neighboring ranchers, the Camp and Larkin families, have a romantic connection between Rod Camp and Margie Larkin. However, the peaceful atmosphere is disrupted when Bill Larkin, Joe's outlaw brother, and his sons move in, rustling cattle and causing trouble. The sons also develop an interest in Margie, leading to a confrontation with Rod at a barn-dance. When Rod's father is shot after catching the Larkins in the act, Rod sets out to prove their guilt.
