In the town of Hartfieldlane, a fishing trip by Mayor Winters and Jim Lesinger takes an ominous turn when they stumble upon a mysterious crate. As the crate is retrieved and opened, a demonic creature is unleashed, wreaking havoc on the town. Meanwhile, six college students returning home must band together to stop the evil entity, but they are picked off one by one as they try to save their hometown from destruction.
