Kent, a skeptical realist, is introduced to three lucid dreamers by his mentor Ori. The dreamers, Ron, Charlene, and Jean, share their experiences and Kent becomes entangled in their lives, helping them with their desires. However, as he becomes more involved, the dreamers turn on him, one by one, and Kent's attempts to reconcile lead to disastrous results, culminating in Ron's suicide, where he reveals the truth about Kent's nature.
