The Fighting Champ background

The Fighting Champ

A tough ranch hand, Steele, gets into a violent altercation with a foreman, resulting in a high-pressure boxing match against a dominant middleweight contender.

In the upcoming film, a manager named Nifty Harmon arrives in town with his fighter, Spike Sullivan, for a highly anticipated match. However, when a local man named Brick Loring unexpectedly takes Spike's opponent's place, the townsmen are thrilled. Despite being asked to throw the fight, Brick refuses, and a rival manager named Jock takes advantage of the situation by drugging Brick's coffee, leading to a shocking upset. As Jock makes off with the prize money, Brick, now recovered from the effects of the drug, sets out to track him down and exact revenge.
